Just wanted to put my two bits in about a book I recently p/up and enjoyed immensely, learned alot, and still am. You all might have heard of it but here goes...

The Ecoholic ---by Adria Vasril

I found it very informative, easy to read, and interesting. She has covered so much in this book, by breaking it down into chapters including:
everything from harmful shampoos to the best insulation for your house.
She includes tons of websites and recommendations. And its ALL Canadian! I even found a place in Vancouver that produces re-useable "feminine hygiene products" in organic cotton! Yeah! just what I was looking for. Not to mention the brillant idea of growing a garden on my roof!!! WWooHHooo!
