Hey everyone! This is reeeeeeealllly short notice, but I'm trying to get the word out as fast as possible.
Come and enjoy a tasty dinner for a good cause! Vegetarian East Indian style food is served at this fundraising event for Child Haven International which will help raise money for eight children's homes in the countries of India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Tibet.
Sales tables and a silent auction of exotic items from India, Tibet, Nepal and Bangladesh are a perfect opportunity for Christmas shopping! The founders of the Child Haven homes, Bonnie and Fred Cappuccino will also be there and happy to answer your questions about the many ongoing Child Haven projects and overseas volunteer opportunities.
When: Wednesday October 21st, 2009. Doors open 5 pm. Dinner served at six o'clock.
Where: Upper Florence Filberg Centre, Courtenay
Tickets: Available at Laughing Oyster Books and Blue Heron Books.
Adults: $20 Children $10 Children under 10 FREE
